Psychic Secrets Revealed!!!

Whether you feel that psychics are a joke, a harmless party game, or a legitimate source of answers to life’s questions there are a few things you should know about the industry before spending any of your hard earned money on any type of psychic reading or product.

A long time practitioner in the psychic industry even warns prospective customers not to give their birth dates to any reader when looking for a general reading. Any reader who needs your birth dates to provide a reading will end up coloring their reading based on either numerology or astrology instead of what you are trying to ask.

In many cases, your initial reading is just an intro to get you to spend more on further services. Most often your initial reading will have some sort of negative details that will need additional therapies or programs like past life readings, or candle therapies or even spells.

Some will move you into alternative health programs like neuro-linguistic programming to get you back on track. There are several psychic websites that offer the answers to all of life’s questions as opening psychic secrets for your benefit.

Many of these sites offer intro phone readings for ten or fifteen dollars for the first ten minutes and then there regular rate per minute for the remainder of the call. I noticed one site would begin charging your card one second after your initial ten minutes expired ($1.99 per minute).

That was the lowest price per minute I have been able to find and at one hundred twenty dollars ($120) per hour for an unknown reader seems rather expensive. Many individual readers with their own websites charge less than that per hour on a phone reading and even offer advice on how to frame your questions to keep you minutes under control.

Some major websites actually send you “free” minutes on a regular basis via email so you will come back more often or want to schedule you for a regular consultation. The vast majority of ethical practitioners will tell you that scheduled appointments are a sign of a con artist and they ethical readers will tell you to only call or email for an appointment if YOU feel you need one.

There are a variety of psychic calling hotlines (remember the infamous Psychic Friends Hotline?) whose only goal is to rack up the minutes. They have the same philosophy as those phone lines in the adult industry and run the business the same way.

These companies hire anyone who is willing to talk on the phone in their behalf. There is an unending supply of people who are in search of a better life, answers to their daily problems, and in general a way to feel better. I read an article by a man whose sister had spent some time on a psychic hotline. She was paid twelve dollars an hour for the time she spent on the phone.

All she had to do to make money was to put her on call. The number of calls she got via the routing system was directly proportional to how long she could keep people on the phone. The average hourly bill for the customer who called the psychic hotline was two hundred forty dollars per hour ($228 gross before actual phone company costs).

Even people who employ “psychics” in their business believe that there really are no such things as real psychics. If you go into a tarot reading, palm reading, psychic secrets reading, astrology chart or horoscope with the thought that it is more for entertainment than anything else you will not be disappointed. If you are looking for specific answers to your love questions, career plans or other life changing situations you will probably be disappointed.

Horoscopes and astrological charts are worded so vaguely that you can always find something in your horoscope that seems true. A gentleman who was doing a presentation at Indiana Wesleyan University put out a full astrological chart and asked each person to only read their own signs information. Are you interested in becoming psychic and being able to help people out too?

When they were done he asked a sampling how many thought their horoscope actually fit them. The majority said that it did. He then revealed that he had moved the signs down one month so that what was under Gemini was actually Cancer and so on.
